Full Service Department
The City of Apopka is served from four fire station locations. The department is a full service department, which provides the following:
- Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service
- Fire Prevention and Suppression
- Hazardous Material Capabilities
- Technical Rescue
Fire Operations provides the vital services required for protecting the lives and property of the residents within the City of Apopka. There are more than 80 certified line personnel who provide fire suppression and emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of our city.
The Apopka Fire department is a licensed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider with the Florida Department of Health.

The mission of the Fire and Life Safety Division is to prevent or limit the occurrence of fire incidents and other hazards to the public.
The Fire Suppression Division responds to fires and other such disasters with the most highly trained and equipped firefighters available.
