Apopka's annual Festival of Trees begins with a free celebration at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at City Hall.
Enjoy the lighting of beautifully decorated trees inside of City Hall, musical carols from the Apopka High School Chorus, gingerbread houses from Wekiva High School's culinary program and an appearance by Santa Claus, who will read “’Twas the Night Before Christmas”.
The trees, which go up for sale at silent auction, will be on display in City Hall for two weeks: Dec. 4-8 and Dec. 11-15.
Top tree bidders will be announced at a closing ceremony starting at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
