Youth Soccer
The City of Apopka's Recreation Division will be holding registration for fall soccer leagues. Youth soccer is offered for boys and girls ages 4-14. Youth must be 4 years of age by August 1, 2012 and may not turn 15 prior to August 1, 2012.
The fees for these programs are $110.00 for City Residents per season and $150.00 for Non-City residents per season which includes a uniform. Parents of new players will be required to attend a Parents Alliance for Youth Sports Seminar – this is a one-time charge of $20.00 and includes a T-shirt and membership to the P.A.Y.S. organization.
Registration will take place at Northwest Recreation Complex (3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway). The Northwest Recreation Center is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Registration for New players will be August 20-31, 2012. Birth certificates are required at registration. Players who played during the spring 2012 season may register during the weeks of August 20-31, 2012. Registration for returners or new players can also be done online by clicking here starting on August 20th through August 31st.

Youth Flag Football (Northwest Recreation Complex)
The City of Apopka Recreation Department will be holding registration for a Summer flag football league. Youth flag football is offered for boys and girls ages 6-12. Youth must be 6 years of age by June 1, 2012 and may not turn 13 prior to June 1, 2012. Practices and games are held at the Northwest Recreation Complex. Games will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights July 24 through August 16.
The fees for flag football are $90.00 for City Residents per season and $125.00 for Non-City residents per season which includes a uniform. A $10 application fee is also required.
Registration takes place May 14 through June 1. Registration will be available online by clicking here or at the main office at the Northwest Recreation Complex (3710 Jason Dwelley Pkwy) Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm.

Tennis Lessons at Northwest Recreation Center
Apopka Tennis Academy offers a variety of tennis classes, clinics, and leagues for youth ages 3 and up and adults of all ages. A highlight of the academy's programming is the 10 & Under Quickstart format of instruction. This format utilizes age appropriate courts, rackets and balls. Group and private lessons are available.

Teen Sand Volleyball Program
Girls and boys in 6th through 8th grade are invited to join our new Teen Sand Volleyball program at the Northwest Recreation Complex, 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway. This program will be instructed by Pat Incantalupo. Pat is a certified instructor with experience as a coach and was a player in college. She currently teaches at Apopka Memorial Middle School.

3 v 3 Summer Soccer League
Join us in the month of June for some 3 v 3 soccer action! 3 v 3 soccer is action packed and gives players opportunities to have multiple touches on the ball. Each game is played on a 20 X 30 yard field with small goals and no goalies. Rosters are typically 5-6 players and games consist of 12 minute halves. Individuals can request a team or register individually and we will place them on a team.
Youth 3 v 3 soccer is offered for boys and girls ages 4-15. Youth must be 4 years of age by June 1, 2012, and may not turn 16 prior to June 1, 2012. Teams will play a 10 game schedule. Each team will play two games per night the evenings of June 5, 7, 12, 14 and 19.
The fees for 3 v 3 soccer are $50.00 for City Residents per season and $75.00 for Non-City residents per season which includes a shirt. A $10 application fee is also charged at registration.
Registration will take place at Northwest Recreation Complex (3710 Jason Dwelley Pkwy) from 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday, beginning on April 30, 2012. Registration can also be done online at by clicking here.
