Dance
The City of Apopka Dance Program invites you to join us for another exciting season of dance class. We offer instruction to girls and boys in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, and Lyrical. We also offer a Tiny Tots class for 3 year old children where your little one will learn the basic movements of dance. Parents, we haven’t forgotten about you! Have fun with your little ones in our new Mommy & Me creative movement class for toddlers 18 months and older. This year we are also offering a new Intro to Dance class for children ages 7 and older with no previous dance experience. Students will learn the basic technique of a variety of dance styles in a friendly, non-competitive environment.
All classes meet once per week for one hour of instruction at the Fran Carlton Center located at 11 North Forest Avenue, Apopka, 32703. Mommy & Me meets once per week for 30 minutes of instruction at a reduced class fee. Classes start on September 10th.
Registration will begin on August 20 and will take place on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s at the Fran Carlton Center between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. You may also register at the Northwest Recreation Complex, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. Registration will be ongoing until all classes are full or October 1, 2012, whichever comes first.
Class fees are $50 per month/per class for City Residents and $75 per month/per class for Non-City Residents. Additional recreation and recital fees apply. Please call the Fran Carlton Center at 407-703-1631 for further details.
