NORTHWEST DISTRIBUTION CENTER

Warehouse, Office and Distribution
Apopka is at the center of an intermodal distribution hub. Three international airports and two deep-water ports are within 45 miles of Apopka. Over-the-road (O-T-R) transportation includes easy access to the I-75 and the Florida Turnpike via State Road 429 (the Mayor John Land Expressway). Office, Warehouse and Distribution users can capitalize on Apopka’s transportation assets.
Recognizing the significant location advantage Apopka possesses as the center of an intermodal distribution hub, the Oakmont Industrial Group (www.oakmont.com) is developing a 45-acre, state-of-the-art, warehouse/distribution center. This five-building complex will eventually include 688,000 square feet of industrial and warehouse space, of which 317,280 square feet are available for immediate occupancy. Site design and facility features are designed to specifically accommodate of range of O-T-R vehicles.
Future phases of development of the Northwest Distribution Center include development of three additional buildings providing 146,607 square feet (Building C), 140,760 square feet (Building D) and 81,000 square feet (Building E) of industrial space with dock features. Located immediately adjacent to Node B of the Apopka Westside Research Park and near the University of Florida IFAS research facility, the Northwest Distribution Center is strategically located to take advantage of the regional transportation networks and ever increasing agri-business activity.
