ADDITIONAL SITES
The City of Apopka has identified select areas for accelerated economic development and targeted business development. These featured areas and sites are shown on the adjacent page. Specific sites, located throughout the City, have the requisite infrastructure, services and land uses to accommodate a wide variety of development types and uses. These uses include: agri-business and bio-technology; warehousing and distribution; aviation-related and aviation dependent services; office uses; professional and medical uses; as well as, traditional commercial and industrial uses.
The City is prepared to facilitate the timely development of these areas and featured sites through the use of expedited review and permitting services and other state and local incentive programs. This expedited permitting and review significantly reduces the overall development schedule and can save developers time and money. The City also partners with Orange County Government, the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission and Enterprise Florida, Inc. to develop innovative public private partnerships and access the State of Florida’s aggressive incentive programs for qualifying development.
