Police Divisions
The men and women of the Apopka Police Department have a philosophy of Community Oriented Policing. We strive to have proactive communication with community leaders and cooperative partnership with neighborhoods that help reduce crime and improv the quality of life. Such techniques of combining the working relationship with the community and promoting a hard line on criminal activity are long established and recognized methods of police work.
To ensure quality in policing, the Chief of Police oversees several sections within the agency, each having a unique fingerprint on providing services. The major sections include Communications, Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Community Affairs, Operational Support, and Administrative Support.
